Testimonials

Amanda came into my life as I prepared to run my second NYC marathon. My only goal was to beat my previous time, but an ankle injury had sidelined me for months and I was doubtful that I could even handle the training much less manage to PR. Amanda and I decided to work together for a month before committing to the following 16-weeks of formal training, giving her a chance to evaluate my ability and me a chance to decide if this was a good fit. Naturally Amanda immediately believed I could absolutely conquer the marathon and improve my time, but not because she was a coach selling her services, but because believing in you is what she is all about. Amanda provides a training schedule that takes away the stress and second guessing, so all you have to do is show up and run. She provides advice and feedback so you feel supported, encouraged, and motivated. But most importantly, Amanda believes in you so completely that you can’t help but believe in yourself - and that is what carries you through training and across the finish line, it’s exactly what empowers you to crush your goals, whatever they may be.

Amanda coached me as I prepared to run my first 26.2 – the NYC marathon November 2019. She shared daily workouts, weekly mileage goals, nutrition recommendations, and words of encouragement that kept me focused and motivated throughout several months of preparation. Amanda also helped me develop cross and strength training routines that bettered my form and endurance.  Thanks to Amanda’s structured training plan, I ran my first marathon in 3:36. A couple of months later in January 2020, as result of Amanda’s continued guidance,  I shaved 3-minutes off my best 10K time, and 10-minutes off my best half marathon time. Overall, Amanda is a strong and practiced coach who has and continues to help me achieve and grow as a runner.
